Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the StratScribe platform and services ("Service") operated by StratScribe AI ("StratScribe," "we," "us," or "our"). This AUP is incorporated by reference into the Terms of Service and forms part of your agreement with us.
The purpose of this AUP is to protect the integrity of the Service, protect other users, and ensure that StratScribe is not used to facilitate illegal activity or market abuse.
1. General Principles
You must use the Service in a manner that is:
- Lawful under all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction and in any jurisdiction affected by your trading activity;
- Consistent with the rules and terms of any broker, exchange, prop firm, or trading platform you connect to the Service;
- Respectful of the integrity and stability of financial markets;
- Respectful of the rights of other users and third parties.
2. Prohibited Uses
2.1 Market Manipulation and Illegal Trading
You may not use the Service to generate, test, deploy, or facilitate any strategy or code intended to engage in:
(a) Spoofing: Placing orders with the intent to cancel them before execution, for the purpose of creating a false impression of market depth or demand.
(b) Layering: Placing multiple orders at different price levels with the intent to cancel them, for the purpose of manipulating the order book.
(c) Wash trading: Executing trades in which the same party is effectively both buyer and seller, for the purpose of generating artificial volume or misleading other market participants.
(d) Front-running: Trading ahead of known pending client orders or non-public information about order flow.
(e) Quote stuffing: Submitting and rapidly cancelling large numbers of orders for the purpose of creating latency or confusion for other market participants.
(f) Pump and dump: Artificially inflating the price of an instrument through misleading communications or coordinated trading, followed by selling at the inflated price.
(g) Insider trading: Trading on material, non-public information in violation of applicable securities or derivatives laws.
(h) Price manipulation: Any other conduct designed to artificially move the price of a financial instrument through deceptive means.
These activities may constitute criminal offences under the Commodity Exchange Act (US), the Securities Act (Canada) and provincial securities legislation, the Market Abuse Regulation (EU), the Financial Services and Markets Act (UK), and equivalent legislation in other jurisdictions. StratScribe will cooperate fully with regulatory authorities investigating suspected violations.
2.2 Violation of Third-Party Platform Rules
You may not use the Service to generate or deploy strategies that:
(a) Violate the terms of service, trading rules, or risk parameters of any broker account you connect to the Service;
(b) Violate the challenge rules, drawdown limits, consistency rules, or any other rules of any proprietary trading firm challenge or funded account program;
(c) Circumvent any platform-imposed risk controls, position limits, or trading restrictions;
(d) Are deployed on platforms or exchanges that are not legally accessible in your jurisdiction.
2.3 Platform Abuse
You may not:
(a) Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, extract, or reproduce StratScribe's underlying AI system prompts, validation logic, backtesting methodology, or proprietary technology by any means;
(b) Systematically scrape, harvest, or extract data, code, backtest results, or other content from the Service using automated tools, bots, or scripts without our prior written consent;
(c) Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service or any connected system, or breach any security or authentication measures;
(d) Circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with security-related features of the Service, including rate limits, plan restrictions, generation limits, or access controls;
(e) Create multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits, generation limits, or free trial restrictions;
(f) Use the Service in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Service or interfere with any other user's use of the Service.
2.4 Commercial Redistribution Without Permission
You may not, without our prior written consent:
(a) Resell, sublicense, or distribute generated code as a standalone commercial product or service;
(b) White-label or rebrand generated code or any other output of the Service as your own proprietary product for commercial distribution;
(c) Offer strategy generation, backtesting, or code conversion as a service to third parties using StratScribe as the underlying technology.

2.5 Harmful or Illegal Conduct
You may not use the Service to:
(a) Generate code or strategies intended to harm, defraud, or deceive other market participants or any third party;
(b) Facilitate money laundering, terrorist financing, or any other financial crime;
(c) Circumvent AML/KYC requirements of any broker or exchange;
(d) Conduct any activity that violates applicable sanctions laws or that involves sanctioned persons, entities, or jurisdictions.
3. Your Responsibility for Compliance
You are solely responsible for:
(a) Understanding and complying with all laws, regulations, and rules applicable to your trading activities in your jurisdiction, including securities laws, derivatives regulations, tax obligations, and any licensing or registration requirements for algorithmic trading;
(b) Ensuring that strategies you develop and deploy do not violate the rules of any market, exchange, or trading platform;
(c) Maintaining appropriate records of your trading activity as required by applicable law and by your broker;
(d) Ensuring that your use of automated trading does not inadvertently constitute regulated activity (such as operating as an unregistered investment adviser or fund manager) in your jurisdiction.

4. Monitoring and Enforcement
We reserve the right, but have no obligation, to monitor use of the Service for compliance with this AUP. We may investigate any suspected violation and take any of the following actions in our sole discretion:
- Issue a warning;
- Suspend access to the Service, with or without notice;
- Permanently terminate your account, with or without refund;
- Remove or disable access to any generated code or stored strategies;
- Report suspected violations to relevant regulatory authorities, including securities regulators, financial market regulators, and law enforcement agencies.
We will cooperate fully with any legitimate regulatory or law enforcement investigation into suspected trading violations by users of the Service.
5. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any use of the Service that violates this AUP, please report it to hello@stratscribe.com. We take reports of potential market abuse seriously and will investigate all credible reports.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this AUP from time to time to reflect changes in the law, market regulations, or the Service. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated AUP.
